11 Jun Gillis Gilkerson Celebrates Dairy Queen Harrington Completion
HARRINGTON, DELAWARE – June 11, 2024 – Gillis Gilkerson was pleased to join ownership of Dairy Queen and town officials of Harrington, Delaware to celebrate the opening of a brand-new Dairy Queen location with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. Gillis Gilkerson President Tyler Barnes, Project Manager Robin Steininger, and Superintendents Jamie Heath and Bruce West joined in the Ribbon Cutting ceremony in early June. Gillis Gilkerson further celebrated the milestone with the presentation of a donation check to the Children’s Miracle Network, the corporate fundraising recipient for Dairy Queen’s across the country.
The all -new 2,300 square foot DQ Grill & Chill is located between northbound and southbound lanes of US Route 13 in Harrington, Delaware and features a bright, colorful interior, a covered drive-thru and an outdoor seating area complete with unique red umbrellas creating a comfortable dining area for the restaurant’s patrons. Graphics on the exterior of the restaurant even feature the brands iconic upside-down frozen Blizzard © treats.
