This year, Superintendent Ivan Jackson celebrates his 31st year as a member of the Gillis Gilkerson (GGI) team. Throughout his tenure, Jackson has touched each and every project completed regardless of its type, location or scale. Over the years, he as continued to grow his construction portfolio and specialties, adding to his masonry experience obtained prior to joining GGI.
Jackson is highly valued member of the team with expertise in all facets of commercial construction. In addition to project supervision and management, he oversees the purchase and maintenance of all company equipment, tools and vehicles as well as fleet’s warehouse. Jackson obtained certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in forklift operation and crane rigging and signaling. He is also regarded by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) as a Certified Construction Reviewer.
