"Our family enjoyed working with the Gillis Gilkerson team very much and appreciated the expertise they brought to the table."
“The OCPD Downtown Substation was a complex project. The building is mixed-use, with each use presenting its own challenges. We have public facing spaces such as the shuttle stop and comfort station, secure areas for police work, garage space to maintain the bicycle fleet, and housing space for seasonal residents. On top of satisfying all these needs under one roof, the construction team had a tight lot to work on through the busy season in Ocean City. Gillis Gilkerson were great partners on the project, and we are very happy with our new downtown police substation.”
"Thank you, gentleman. Taylor Bank's new Cape Charles branch looks fantastic. We appreciate the time, energy and effort that you and your team put into the project. We certainly picked the right partner to get it done. ”
“We're excited about the new Talbot County Health Department. The opportunity was excellent, it's a new facility, it has room for us to grow, it's walkable and it's co-located with other health services. With any project there are challenges. The Gillis Gilkerson team was great to work with, we worked through all our challenges and delivered an excellent project for Talbot County. ”

"The reason why our relationship with GGI is one that is everlasting in our evolution here at the Freeman Arts Pavilion, is because of our values and what we expect in relationships with our vendor partners, and that’s someone who can deliver a quality product, on-time and within budget, and they do that every year."

“Our experience working with Gillis Gilkerson has been great. Between relocating our well, prepping the ground for the addition and assisting in researching our boundary lines, they didn’t waste any time in getting the project moving.”
“We recommend your people to all of our associates, and we thank you.”
Dwight Miller and his team at GGI did an outstanding job of renovating our Shore United Ocean City Bank. Greg Ennis was very responsive with any issues, and with all 40 year old buildings – there will always be issues - but they tackled them effectively and efficiently. They worked well with all of our outside vendors to facilitate a seamless integration of our specialized equipment. They delivered a great product for us – and we are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend them to anyone that is considering a commercial project. Their team is prepared, knowledgeable and professional. They have given new life to an old building.
Gillis Gilkerson was wonderful to work with – very professional, reasonable, and they were able to work with our timeline. The GGI team was able to work with our modest nonprofit budget and we now have a beautiful space that is affordable and accessible for our clients. I would highly recommend this top-notch outfit.
Working with GGI was a really good experience. I appreciated all the help in completing my project in a timely manner. I have been happy with the results.
Mike Truitt, Jared King, and the whole Gillis Gilkerson team were terrific during our build process, from planning to delivery. They were supportive throughout and worked very well with our industry specific vendors. The GGI team ensured quality work and an on-time delivery. They were especially supportive in providing regular communication and constructive response and feedback to our questions and changes. The GGI team were clearly prepared, knowledgeable, and professional. They delivered a great product, an Artisans’ Bank Retail Branch and Lending Center from which we are proud to serve the Rehoboth-Lewes communities.
From start to finish, Gillis Gilkerson was phenomenal to work with. Through the bid process they were completely on target and with the timeline of the project. Tyler Barnes is hard working and a pleasure to work with. He pushed the project through the short timeline and really went above and beyond to meet our deadline.
When the Lower Shore Chapter of the American Red Cross’s office was broken into, we immediately called Gillis Gilkerson. They responded immediately and made all of the necessary repairs at no charge. It looked better than ever!
(Gillis Gilkerson) made the entire construction process amazingly simple for us. They handled all the phases of the process … (and) there was always a construction foreman on site providing supervision. The best part of all was the final result – a well-designed, quality built office building
The global expertise in all aspects of the building construction and access to various sub-contractors was a blessing given the number of technical details that needed to be attended to while we obtained certification from the state health care officials.
For a design/build project it is unusual for the initial cost estimates and timing to be maintained and in this case the project was completed on time and the costs were held to the contract level. In going into a design/build project like this, one always wonders if the right decision was made on the contractor selected. Now that the project has been completed, I can say that I know we made the right decision with Gillis Gilkerson.
Dwight Miller’s … knowledge of pricing and quality gave us one of the nicest office structures in Salisbury. Thank you Gillis Gilkerson!
I want to commend and thank (Gillis Gilkerson) for your firm’s cooperation and commitment to the construction of the City’s new fire stations and headquarters facility … There’s no doubt in my mind that you have indeed established your credibility as a desirable vendor for future City projects. Dr. Carol and David Lewis and I would like to extend a thank you to those involved in our repair project at the hospital. Jared orchestrated a prompt, efficient, and professional job. We were very pleased with everyone involved. We understand that you do not typically take on a small job such as ours was, and are grateful that you made an exception for us. Jared did an exceptional job in managing the job and keeping us updated.
We travel all over the country and build relationships with many different contractors. I have been very impressed with Tyler Barnes. He is very personable and responsive. We are very optimistic about this project and working with Gillis Gilkerson.

The Salisbury Zoo is pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Gillis Gilkerson on its Animal Health Clinic project. Successful completion of the Clinic project was an essential component of the continued growth and professional accreditation of the Zoo. Additionally the project represented an active partnership between the Zoo, the City of Salisbury, the State of Maryland, and the Delmarva Zoological Society and the regional philanthropic community. All these factors made it imperative that the project be completed in a timely and budgetarily consistent fashion.

Your generosity of time, energy, employees and community service has enabled our patient to have safe, reliable access in and out of her home to continue dialysis three times a week. The ramp also provides an exit for the patient in the event of an emergency.
