GGI Completed Chestertown Arby’s Renovations

11/27/2023 –Gillis Gilkerson (GGI) recently completed interior and exterior renovations on the Arby’s located at 707 Washington Avenue in Chestertown, Maryland.  GGI Project Manager, Robin Steininger, collaborated seamlessly with Superintendent Brian Revel to ensure the timely completion of the extensive renovations within the challenging three-week timeframe. The renovation included updates to the kitchen, dining room and restrooms, as well as improvements to the exterior façade, lighting, signage, and drive-thru lanes. 

“The renovation is stunning; the place looks brand-new” said Project Manager, Robin Steininger.  “Witnessing the rapid transformation of the space was truly exhilarating. Our collaboration with the CATO Group’s team on the numerous restaurant ground-up builds and renovations in the past played a crucial role in the success of this project. Maintaining real-time communication among Arby’s national Construction Manager, project architects, the local franchise’s district manager, employees, maintenance crews, IT professionals and our GGI team was essential to ensure the timely reopening of the restaurant,” said Steininger.

The interior renovation included all new furniture, fresh paint and modern décor that gives the restaurant a bold new look and inviting atmosphere. The interior received updated tile flooring, countertops, and prep stations, as well as all new lighting and bathroom fixtures. Drive-thru customers can now enjoy lighted menu boards and a new drive-thru window complete with a canopy to protect customers from the elements while ordering.  The building façade received an updated exterior and paint to match the national brand’s latest design standards.
